Our History

St. Anthony’s High School, Faisal Town, Lahore, was founded through the vision of Rt. Rev. Bishop Armando Trindade, who dreamed of establishing an institution that would combine academic excellence with faith, discipline and character formation. Under the dedicated leadership of Br. Maxwell Shanti, the school formally opened on 7 April 1990, with 242 students and a small team of pioneering teachers. From these humble beginnings, it grew
steadily in reputation, enrolment and facilities, surpassing 1,000 students by 2017. Over the years, the school introduced both Matriculation and Cambridge educational pathways, gained formal recognition from BISE Lahore, and developed modern libraries, science and computer laboratories, multimedia resources and smart classrooms.

St.Anthony’s offers more than academic instruction; it provides a caring and values-based environment in which students are encouraged to become confident, responsible and compassionate individuals. The school places particular importance on qualified and professionally trained teachers, structured academic monitoring, regular parent-teacher communication, individual support for struggling learners, pastoral care, sports, debates, science activities, creative arts and community service. Its students have achieved distinction in board examinations, international competitions and educational programmes, while the school has also received the British Council’s International School Award. By introducing modern subjects such as Robotics, Coding and Chinese Language, the school continues to prepare students for a rapidly changing world while remaining firmly rooted in its traditions of faith, discipline, respect, inclusivity and service.
