Who We Are
St. Anthony’s High School, Faisal Town, was established on the 7th of April, 1990 with 242 students on roll, as a branch of St. Anthony’s High School, Lawrence Road, which is over 100 years old. The school functions under the umbrella of Catholic Board of Education whose chairman is the Archbishop of Lahore.
I do hope that the new website will help to build a family-spirit of love, support and cooperation among all the educators of CBE school system. It can be a very useful tool to improve internal communication, share success stories and creative ideas and inspire new ways to raise the standard of education. Parents and students could also benefit from the website.
I would specially stress that the website should not be the sole responsibility of St. Anthony’s High School, Faisal Town, Lahore, but a collaborative effort of all the schools. I wish this venture all success and hope it will be a great step forward in achieving our vision and mission.
Rest assured of my continual prayers and blessings.
With cordial regards, I remain,
Yours sincerely in Christ,
Rt. Rev. Archbishop Sebastian Francis Shaw

Children are our future. Our future depends on how we educate our children. Being aware of our responsibilities, Catholic Board of Education endeavors relentlessly, to promote and uphold all that involves in securing our future according to God’s plans for us and our country. For this purpose, it runs around one hundred schools in urban and rural areas for the rich and poor, irrespective of caste, creed or ethnic affiliations.
These schools endeavor to give every student an equal opportunity for his/her wholesome growth with a quality and creative education. We also commit ourselves to impart knowledge with values. Such a growth which is evidently physical will also be intellectual, spiritual, formative and instructive to make them more useful members of society with proper moral values, motivated to serve society and to help in the uplifting of the underprivileged.
It is hoped in future, that the use of this site will help all stakeholders to work together to achieve our goals.
God bless us all!

Secretary Catholic Board of Education, Lahore
As the new Vice Principal of St. Anthony’s High School, it is my pleasure and honor to be a member of the school management. This school community enjoys a rich history of academic excellence that is the result of a collegial partnership between the school staff and parents. I am pleased to be appointed to this position and am looking forward to working with the very dedicated staff at St. Anthony’s High School to provide the best possible educational program for our students.
A unique characteristic of our School is the child-centred approach to education that results in excellent school programs. Parents and staff who collaboratively work together each day for the students is the quality that makes the difference. Helping children to become all they can be is exciting, awe-inspiring and rewarding.
As parents and teachers, we need to recognize that we live in a rapidly changing society. Our challenge is to prepare our children and students to live in a world that will be different from that of today. We want children to develop the lasting knowledge, skills and attitudes they will need to live happy, useful and fulfilling lives.
On behalf of the entire staff, I would like to welcome all of you to St. Anthony’s High School for what promises to be an exciting and enriching school year. I especially welcome all the new families to our school community and I wish you the very best in your new start. I hope everyone had an enjoyable summer and took the opportunity to spend time with family and friends
I am looking forward to working closely with everyone to make our school an even better place for our children to learn and grow.
It is said that the big achievement of a person is doing something about which others say that one cannot do. Likewise, when I took the responsibility of making the “Digitalized Bell System” as the president of I.T Club of St.Anthony’s Faisal Town High School, I faced opposition from a lot of people who claimed that I could never make it as it was something beyond my understanding. So, instead of taking is as something degrading, I took it as a challenge. That very day when I got back home I started working on it. I used Visual Studio 2015 as a platform and C++ as a language to make this software which would be the brain of that system. But I faced a lot of problems while making it. Firstly, the system would not work at all and all I used to do was to change the coding and try again. This hit and trail method was the main thing that helped me accomplish my task and finally I was able to complete my project.
I should state here that I have been learning C++ for the past 2 years but on a small level and very slowly, and when I had to make this project I was unable to find any proper tutorial or guide on it. So, later, I decided to make my very own video tutorial so that other students all over the world could use it as a resource and make it for their own respected institutions. So I uploaded that tutorial video on YouTube.
I believe that if you decide to do something and have faith in God, there is no power in this world that can stop you from achieving your target. Just have faith in your abilities and seek help from Allah. That thing for sure will come in your direction.
Acknowledgements:I would like thank our principal Mr.Maxwell Shanti for having faith in my ablities and helping me by providing me with all the material for the completion of this system. I must say that without the countless efforts of our coordinator Mr.Shahbaz Anwar, I would not have been able to do this. He was the person who initiated this I.T Club and found the hidden potential in me. I am really thankful to him for everything he has done.
Sir Haroon and Sir Zeeshan are also one of those who provided me with all the technical help, and Hassam Tanvir Shah of class 11C also proved to be a great helper for me who stood by me every single moment. Last but not the least my parents should be acknowledged as well ,as they were the ones who supported me and let me work for hours on computer. Thanks!
